The 68' sporty has finally reached it's new home,up in Canada! after month's of waiting,Rick's finally got his new Baby. I can't tell you how glad I am that it's gone to someone who really dig's it!
He say's he's been riding it everyday. Rick got the bike just in time to make the big "Gas Town Motorcycle show" held in the historic district of Vancouver B.C.
He had been telling me about the show for some time,but I had no idea it was that big of a show!
the quality of the bikes there is outstanding.
what made the story even sweeter was when he told me that the Sporty took First place in the "vintage chopper" class at the show. I'm glad they didn't call it a Bobber! Gongrats,Rick!
Michael,from Germany,just sent these photo's of the Hollywood flipper caps that I sold him,installed on his 41' coupe. I'd say they found the perfect home! I think Dean,from Dice Mag, has a brother he doesn't know about!
